My transition from conference production leadership to IT infrastructure support was driven by my growing fascination with blockchain and web3 technologies discussed at financial services events.
This curiosity evolved into a passion for understanding the underlying cloud infrastructure and network protocols that enable these innovations. My analytical and problem-solving skills from project management translated naturally into troubleshooting technical issues and optimizing infrastructure performance.

I began my career as a conference coordinator, progressing to conference producer, and eventually advancing into leadership roles focused on client relationship management and overseeing the Learning Solutions Division. Throughout this journey, I gained experience in all areas of the business within conference functions, mostly focusing on client relationship management with treasurers and vendors from banks and financial institutions. This has enabled me to understand and enhance my knowledge of corporate treasury, cash and risk management.
I was responsible for all aspects when delivering projects: budgeting, fundraising, marketing, conference programme, logistics and client relations.
I have created new products in new spaces to increase revenue and profit for the Learning Solutions Division. One of the new products I created which has brought me huge interest and is being talked about by the financial services sector – market trend in FinTech, Blockchain Technology and CryptoCurrency. My deep interest in blockchain technology and its transformative potential naturally led me to transition into web3 infrastructure and technical roles. I drove Learning Solution Division business forward in the research, development and implementation of new projects including fundraising, budgeting and planning for project delivery.
